ALTOSID GRANULES

Containing Methoprene, Altosid Granules is a sustained release insect growth regulator that prevents mosquito larvae from developing beyond the pupal stage. Under typical conditions, the Granules can release effective levels of IGR for 21 days. Effectively kills standing water mosquitoes and floodwater mosquitoes once they reach the adult stage. Altosid Granules can be used in various man-made and natural water sites, including: snow pools, dredge spoil sites, drainage areas, ditches, salt and tidal marshes as well as water-holding vessels such as tires.

ALTOSID PELLETS

Like its counterpart, Altosid Pellets is an IGR that kills floodwater and standing water mosquitoes upon reaching the adult stage of their life cycle. As the pellets erode, effective levels of Methoprene are released for up to 30 days. Can be used in such artificial water-holding containers as ornamental ponds and fountains, transformer vaults, construction depressions, tree-holes as well as storm drains, catch basins, roadside ditches, cesspools, etc.

ALTOSID XR BRIQUETS

Like the Pellets and Granules, Altosid XR Briquets are species-specific so while effectively treating mosquito larvae and preventing the emergence of adult mosquitoes, Altosid will not affect fish, waterfowl, mammals or other beneficial predatory insects. Nor will it affect the food chain as the larvae do not die until the adult stage is reached. Altosid XR Briquets offer 150 day control so treating even the most difficult areas becomes easier and cost effective as applicators can place the briquet by hand into treatment sites. The long, slender "ingot" shape allows for easier placement in storm drains and sewers; no lifting the grate to place the "ingot."

BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS ISRAELENSIS (BTI)

BTI is a naturally occurring bacterium that is toxic only to mosquito larvae. During the mosquito's larval stage of its life cycle, the bacterium produces a protein crystal that is ingested by the larvae when feeding. Once ingested, the crystals dissolve into toxic protein molecules that destroy the larvae's stomach lining. Within hours the larvae stop feeding and death occurs usually within 24 to 48 hours. As BTI has a specific mode of action, it has practically no harmful consequences to mammals, fish or other wildlife.

AQUABAC 200G (G) BTI

Commercially labeled biological larvicide for use by farmers, cottage owners and rural dwellers in waters contained solely on their property. Can be used on roadside ditches, irrigation ditches, pastures, woodland pools, snow melt pools, tidal water, salt marshes, catch basins, etc.

VECTOBAC-200G (G) BTI

Commercially labeled for use by farmers, rural dwellers and cottage owners in water completely confined to their property and where there is no chance of runoff or contamination to water beyond their property. Effectively kills mosquito larvae in standing waters such as temporary and permanent pools in pastures and woodlots, irrigation or roadside ditches, natural marshes, catch basins and sewage lagoons.

VECTOBAC-200G (G) BTI

Restricted use for municipalities and provincial mosquito control and abatement programs. Used in standing waters such as catch basins, sewage lagoons, temporary and permanent pools in pastures and woodlots, irrigation or roadside ditches, natural marshes or estuarine areas and waters neighbouring fish bearing waters.

PYROCIDE CONCENTRATE 7369 (E) PYRETHRINS

Containing 3.0% Pyrethrins and 30% Piperonyl Butoxide, this concentrate when used with the Automist Spray System, will effectively control Houseflies, Horn Flies, Stable Flies, Horse Flies, Mosquitoes and Gnats. For use in horse barns, dairy and hog barns, kennels, poultry barns, and other farm structures or animal barns.

AIRSTREME AUTOMATED BARN FLY SYSTEM

Easy to install ULV misting system uses a series of overhead nozzles and tubing to disperse insecticide around barns. Used with Pyrocide 7369, the system quickly controls mosquitoes, flies and other flying insect pests.
